1968 Opel Rekord Sprint Coupé, one of the most sporty, exclusive and hard-to-find versions of the Rekord C range. Produced in limited numbers, the Sprint stood out for its high-performance engine for the era and its elegant coupé bodywork, making it today one of the most sought-after classic Opels by collectors. It is an extremely rare model, with very few examples available for sale, especially domestic and complete examples.
This example is a domestic car, sold new in Portugal, a characteristic that is increasingly valued, and is in good overall condition having been off the road for a few years.
Throughout its life it underwent a very common modification during the 1970s and 1980s in Portugal, having been fitted with a Diesel engine to reduce running costs.
