Overall a good solid car but will need restoration.
The Escort will come with a dating letter from a DVLA authorised Ford Escort Club, so the DVLA will accept the letter for registration purposes, as per a logbook. A NOVA letter will also be supplied to prove all taxes and duties have been paid.

South African cars had various extras over UK cars, such as, brake servo, front disc brakes and front quarter opening windows.
1100cc model.
"A" posts are very good and both doors shut nicely.
Gearbox tunnel is excellent, original and has not been messed with.
Excellent gutter rails.
Doors are very good.
Excellent rear arches.
Very good boot area.
Still has original 12" wheels.
Rare quarter opening windows.
No Sunroof. I try to avoid buying cars with aftermarket sunroofs, they look crap, weaken the shell, are inappropriate for race/ track use, leak and are near on impossible to find parts for.
Bad Bits,
Front floors will need changing, repairing on both sides.
Wings need replacing.
Drivers side inner wing will need a repair.
All the rest can more or less be seen in the pictures.
Delivery can be arranged, but car will have to be paid for in full beforehand.

MOT vehicle on vin and SA number plate.
Insurance is no longer needed (to register).
Fill out form V55.
