Lot 98
A 1957 Matchless G11, registration number PHR 410, frame number A56439, engine number 04699, red. We are advised by the vendor that this G11 has recently emerged from a full restoration which has cost approximately £5000. During the restoration the engine was rebuilt with a re-ground crank, new bearings, and rebored with new pistons. The exhaust and silencers were replaced, the wheels were rebuilt with new rims, spokes, tyres and inner tubes. The magneto has been reconditioned (receipt on file), the wiring loom was replaced plus other numerous components associated with a thorough restoration. The Matchless is offered for auction with sundry paperwork and RF60, (duplicate) and is only for sale due to the vendor's ill health. V5C, MOT and tax exempt See illustration
