Description
This G15 CS has recently undergone a full nut-and-bolt restoration, returning it to its original 1967 USA “desert sled” specification as supplied when new. The motorcycle is now UK registered with an age-related registration and classified as a Historic Vehicle, meaning free road tax and no MOT requirement.
The bike benefits from several sensible upgrades, including electronic ignition, stainless steel fastenings, Superblend main bearings, and a new 12V wiring loom and electrics. It is a high-performance motorcycle, and for regular road use, a silencer would be required.
The shakedown milage is only about 150mls from the rebuild.

Originally supplied to the USA in 1967, this G15 CS was later repatriated to the UK, where it has been restored to its original USA desert sled spec (as delivered to US in 1967). The restoration has been carried with high attention to detail.
This bike is slightly too tall for me to ride easily, and with age being a consideration, I'll need to let this one go.
