The Volkswagen Karmann Ghia 2+2 sports coupe built between 1955 to 1974. Built in Germany and Brazil.
Basically built on a Volkswagen beetle Type 1 chassis and running gear, with a beautifully designed body styled by Luigi Segre of the Italian Carrozzeria Ghia and hand built bodywork by the German coachbuilder Karmann.
With over 445, 000 cars produced in Germany it was the most imported car into the US and a further 41, 600 cars produced in Brazil.
Classed as one of the worlds most beautifully designed products.
This 1967 Germany built car was first registered in the US and imported back into the UK over 17 years ago with only one UK owner.
The car was originally white and painted before the import, but is very good rust free condition. Covering only 79, 500 miles and used very little over the past 10 years.
One of those cars you just have to smile when driving and a car that is so reliable, it makes it a very reasonable classic to use on a regular basis.
Finished in red paint, with black trim, front and rear seatbelts and chrome wheels. All matching numbers car with a current MOT and ready to drive away.
