This sweet little 1950 Chevrolet Deluxe is such a car. This is an extremely solid car that remains an absolute pleasure to drive 67 years after it first roamed the highways! We believe the car is mostly original and the condition of the wiring, functional gauges, and working original radio (tubes and all!) seems to support this. This particular Deluxe sports a couple of features that were firsts for Chevrolet in 1950. It was the year Chevy introduced the soon-to-be omnipresent Powerglide automatic transmission, and it was the fist year that the legendary 235 I6 engine was available in a passenger car. In fact, the 235 was only available with the Powerglide and in this role it was fitted with hydraulic valve lifters for smoother operation. This is a fun and comfortable machine that oozes with charm and enchants with nostalgic sounds and smells. Where else can you find a time machine for this price?!
