Superbly built to the highest standards, this Sprite evocation is an ideal
fast road car that is also eminently suitable for hillclimbs and sprints.
Featuring a body built by Jarvis & Son, with panels and ash framework by
Colin Wharnsby (CW Classics) the car is of superb appearance and has a
particularly high specification, which includes engine rebuilt by Keith
Pointing, with Arrow crank and rods, fast road cams and 1. 25" carbs. A new
flywheel was fitted with an MGB clutch unit. All components in the
drivetrain were also fully rebuilt, with a 4. 5:1 rear axle ratio and Silent
Third gearbox with TT Sprite gears and Brooklands remote change. All
instrumentation has been reconditioned and is fully functional.
The car has competed in a number of VSCC events and won various awards. It
has full weather equipment and the cockpit, which is trimmed in black
leather, is comfortable enough for a larger driver (Fits me like a glove!)
A delightful sporting Riley in all respects, it is well proven and is a joy
to drive.
Documentation supplied includes dynometer printout, bills and full
specification sheets. A rare opportunity to acquire an excellent Sprite
