Serial numbers decodes to being built on 2 Nov 1972, day shift, Basilden plant, Force 3000, agricultural, diesel, dual clutch, 8 speed. We have no registration documents, but can help and advise buyer to register for the road.
Starts very well with no heat or help, runs lovely with no smoke, pulls like a train, working brakes and handbrake, smooth clutch, all gears high / low easily selected, hydraulics working, draw bar fitted, no major leaks or drips, oil and water in right places.
Only 4895 hrs on working and believed genuine tacho. Nearly new tyres all round no age cracks. Very good to drive with no steering wobble or wander, goes along at some pace in top gear, make a great road run tractor. This is the third Ford we sold from the same collection, other two have been just as good and the buyers are very happy.
These Ford tractors are currently rising in value, this one is sensibly priced, its a good investment and it will be more fun than money in the bank.
Its just out of long term storage and will benefit form being used, brakes work but are weak, seem to be getting better as its driven, some lights working, need fiddling with, paint is very well done, but the bonnet has suffered micro blistering, only visible on very close inspection, overall very tidy, I'm being picky.
Very nice tractor all round, will likely sell quickly.
