The Abingdon was the first limited edition MGF , Only 500 were built and of these only 150 had the VVC engine.
All were finished in Brooklands Green with Walnut leather & wood effect & special 16" wheels.
We supplied this VVC engined car to its last owner in 2009 & at that time we were aware that it had been supplied new by Shields Rover in Glasgow. It has now had only 5 owners & the present mileage is 71603. It has had a gasket change but we have no invoice for this.
Unfortunately a few months after buying the car the owner became seriously ill & the car has been stored since late 2010.
It was immaculate when we supplied it but now requires some recommissioning! Body is rust free apart from on the offside front wing & around the windscreen. The unique leather seats are in good order. A matching fitted hardtop is included & we understand that a new hood was fitted in 2008... and never used!
The car starts & drives.
This car is almost unique & offers an excellent opportunity for an MG enthusiast to have the car back on the road next Spring!
