Originally built in late May 1955, this beautiful matching numbers Austin Healey 100 BN1 is a high-quality, original UK car finished in the sensational Reno Red with Black interior trim including Black leather seats with Red piping. The car is complete with full wet weather gear including roof, side screens and tonneau in the correct Black Everflex material.
The car has an excellent aesthetic with a 100M-style louvered bonnet and Le Mans regulation leather strap fitted. The panel gaps across the car are very good, the chrome and stainless excellent. Upon completion of its restoration the car immediately won three awards at a national Austin Healey Club concours.
The car is extremely nicely presented with a very deep shine to the paint free of polishing swirls and exceptionally clean underneath. New wheels in factory 'Aluminium' finish have been fitted with Michelin XAS tyres in immaculate/ excellent condition.
To drive the car is pleasingly taught, very composed with great ride quality and free of scuttle shake. The engine makes good oil pressure both at idle and while driving and consistently maintains good temperature.
