Two tone lilac grey over storm grey car. First registered in Middlesex in late 1956 and supplied new to a Mr Phipps. Ownership passed to his son in 1980, following which some restoration was carried out, including a lower half respray and some new brightwork. The car did not return to the road until this year, and it has a genuine 45, 000 miles recorded. Recent recommissioning work includes a brake overhaul, a new radiator and hoses, a new water pump, a reconditioned dynamo and a new voltage regulator. The interior is in very good condition and a new set of carpets are fitted. Overall this is a nice and largely unrestored example with no sign of rust. Examples of an early Minx in this condition are extremely hard to find.
