EXTERIOR
The 507 Edition at first appears a gentle styling exercise although the upgrades contribute to both function and form. The bonnet is lighter thanks to borrowing the aluminium unit from the black series, whilst the forged wheels are bolted over composite discs. The sweeping graphics are the only real giveaway to suggest a focused and more powerful V8 variant.
The diamond white paintwork presents superbly with a high shine – free from swirls or marks.
INTERIOR
This 507 edition cabin is as comfortable and assuring as it’s predecessors although there are subtle touches aplenty with generous alcantara to wheel, gear knob and gaiter. The alcantara theme continues to the seat centres, offering up plenty of comfort and grip. A single subtle plaque on the dash marks this variant out against a piano black dash insert. Without even any trace of wear of creasing to the drivers bolster the interior is as new.
The rear bench and boot space appear as new, with tight leather and unmarked carpets throughout.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
An uprated M156 with an LSD is somewhere close to modern day motoring nirvana. The operating bracket of the C63 is vast; happy as undercover Q car as much as the show stealing sideways monster.
Equipped with the differential the drive on corner exit is markedly different – extremely tactile with or without traction.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The forged wheels work on many levels, they look fantastic and yield a weight saving and strength beyond the standard offering. Fresh rubber courtesy of Michelin sits on all four corners.
Composite discs and lightweight Calipers take weight saving a stage further – harnessing the tremendous power on offer.

Registered the day after Boxing day in 2013 this 507 has enjoyed a healthy annual service routine with MB main dealers;
