Offered for sale a 1972 MGB Roadster. British Racing Green GN 29. 1798cc. Overdrive. Chrome Wire Wheels. Beige Leather interior. Servo assisted brakes.
Built into a new Heritage shell in 2001 buy a private individual to a very high standard. This comprised of a complete restoration to all areas.
The Heritage body was professionally gapped and prepared prior to being repainted to all areas in high quality 2 pack paint.
All main mechanical components were blasted and refinished in black prior to refitting using mainly new components or reconditioned items to fuel, cooling, suspension, electrics, heating, transmission, drivetrain, clutch etc. Upgrades were carried out to brakes using EBC pads and braided hoses. The ignition system features a 123 Electronic Distributor. A Facet Electronic fuel pump feeding to a brand new set of HS4 Stromberg carburetors. All suspension bushes feature Polyurethane replacements.
The interior is the area which features the biggest deviation from standard. The hole different set up can be reverted to standard fairly simply if required. The interpretation is however fairly special.
The carpets and trim are to a very high standard in Beige. The carpet is Wilton custom made and complemented by MGOC Club reclining seats in Beige Leather with Green Piping. The Dashboard is a full wood structure mounted over the top of the original metal dash with complementing centre console and armrest. The door cappings feature wood inserts. The hood is a Mohair item with matching hood bag.
Overall fine example of a MGB Roadster. Fully serviced by ourselves requiring only fine tuning and small improvements to optimise the car to the top draw. All complete ready to go.
