Description
Lovely 1978 2CV6 Bamboo with galvanised chassis and new floor. A reliable every-day car and a real head-turner. 74, 500 miles. Restored by the previous owner, from whom I bought it in 2015, now also with new tyres all round and MoT to November 2018. Sold complete with original registration PUD26T.
Changed circumstances mean I have to find a new owner to look after this lovely car. The previous restoration did not include the upper paintwork, which is showing some minor imperfections, but sadly I have not had time to finish the job, hence the price. The car is used regularly and runs well. It has been serviced by 2CV expert Peter Boxall at Citroen Care. Original drum brakes. Extras include the original tools, owner's manual, a cover in case it needs to stay outside (I have garaged it since buying it) and the previous owner's file documenting the restoration.
