Here we have a Land Rover 88" Series 2a 1st registered in Southend on Sea on 26th September 1965 as FHJ 117C.
Chassis number 24122063B
V5 document present and correct.
Lots of old MOTs dating back to 1997.
Some invoices present for work done over the years.
Last on the road in 2007.
Will need brakes and clutch hydraulics going through.
Starts on the key and the original engine number 25230424G sounds good.
Chassis will need some welding but it looks very solid and will certainly go again.
Bulkhead needs a footwell and door post on the passenger side, drivers side is all good and renewed some time ago.
Freewheeling hubs fitted.
Original starting handle present.
This lovely Land Rover could be got back on the road and used as is with not too much effort or would be a good basis for a full restoration as it complete and very original.
It is getting very difficult to find unmolested examples like this.
