As a direct replacement for the iconic front engined 365 GTB/ 4 "Daytona", the Ferrari 365 GT4 BB debuted at the Turin motor show in 1971. It was the company’s first road going model with a mid-mounted & flat 12-cylinder engine. The exotic design was derived from the company’s three-litre Formula One race car.
Launched in 1973 as a 1974 model with only 387 examples built in the following three years. Road and Track recorded 175 mph in one during a road test in 1975, making history as the fastest road car ever tested. Production was changed over in 1976 to the 512 BB. To many, the 365 GT4 BB is the ultimate Berlinetta Boxer, as it is lighter and more purposeful in its purest form than its more common successors.
An original UK delivery with full matching numbers engine, factory air conditioning & electric windows accompanied by an extensive service history with bill of sales, original parts book package, radio, tool & jack kits. Maintained regardless of cost by Ferrari main agents & marque specialists adds to the great drivability and enhanced performance. Complete repaint in 1982 in its current colour scheme and a complete re-trim in tan over black inserts.
