Wm. Angus & Sons Ltd. was a well known local dairy that operated in North Lanarkshire between the fifties and late eighties.
The owner of this FG worked with the company when he left school many years ago. He bought the truck which was a tipper about 2 years ago and had a new aluminium milk float body fitted and painted in the original Angus colours. It will be supplied with all of the milk bottles and crates. The body can easily be removed if not required.
The Diesel engine runs well and it gets used once a fortnight for collecting the milk money! It is also displayed at classic vehicle shows and has won a couple of awards.
The brakes have been overhauled and had recent tyres fitted.
Tidy condition inside and out. Doors cards are currently being refurbished and will be refitted by the time it is sold.
It will come with a full years MOT and is of course tax exempt.
Located in Coatbridge, ML6 approximately 10 miles east of Glasgow.
