Registration number: BXB 864
Chassis number: GRF1
Vintage and Prestige Fine Motor Cars are proud to be offering this 1935 Hooper 20/ 25 Sports Saloon for sale. A fine sporting example of this Rolls Royce model with coachwork buy Hooper who, could be regarded as "the king of coach-builders."
In the last fifteen years the Hooper 20/ 25 Sports Saloon has had its body taken off for restoration work which was carried out to a very high standard and comes with a plethora of bills supporting this high level of work. These include, amongst other things, a new cylinder head and the fitting of a Tim Payne Laycock overdrive system, making for relaxed long distance driving.
The engine runs very quietly with the temperature remaining cool even on hot days. The seat rake has been very slightly angled backwards making for a more comfortable than usual driving position. Lacking a division, this is very much an owner driver car. To the interior is brand new deep red hide matched by red Wilton carpets. Wood work is the original Burr walnut all in good order. A large sunroof makes for airy summer motoring. The mid blue paintwork is accented by a red coach line enhancing the red interior.
The exterior paint is also in excellent condition. Blue painted ace wheel discs are fitted at the four corners and also to the twin side mount spares. This is a Hooper 20/ 25 Sports Saloon that may be bought in confidence, having had all the major works completed. It looks beautiful, drives beautifully and is a lovely sight to behold.
