Jake Wright, Land Rover specialists in Yorkshire, maintained this nice Series 111 for fourteen years prior to a customer of ours purchasing it in 2014, since when we have serviced and repaired it including fitting a new clutch earlier this year.
They fitted a full galvanised chassis in 2005 and an unleaded cylinder head to the two and a quarter petrol engine in 2007. The current owner has continued the care and has fitted a new rear door, a bench seat to the rear and had the seats retrimmed in new vinyl. He repainted the roof as the old paintwork was flaky.
This 88" is clean and tidy and presents very well. It's never going to win a show but, having been maintained so well, it drives very well and the all important galvanised chassis means that MOT time is not quite so frightening!
