1986 D REGISTRATION 3. 5 V8 RANGE ROVER CLASSIC
Purchased by us only this week. This local vehicle was in the hands of the last owner for the last fifteen years and prior to that the same owner for five years.
Current Mot is until the end of November this year and it passed the last MOT with no advisories. We are in possession of the mot history report as well as the owners manual and all the keys for the vehicle.
The engine starts first time and runs lovely as does the gearbox. All the elctric wondows and ancilliaries also work correctly.
The chassis and rear crossmember (a normal range rover weakspot) is very good indeed. There is some corrosion to the inside of a couple of doors and also some alloy corrosion to some of the panels as well as various marks commensurate with the age/ mileage .
All of the interior seats are in excellent condition however the walnut veneers on the door cards have been repainted quite basically in the past as has the headlining which could ideally do with replacing.
The car does have an lpg system fitted which I suspect will require a service if you are wishing to use it as it has not been used for some time .
In essence this is a very cheap way into a classic range rover that could be enjoyed as it is whilst doing various upgrades whilst enjoying the car.
Excellent tyres all round.
