This is a superb trials car, newly built to a very good standard and it will surely prove to be competitive in pre-war trials such as 750 MC, Pre-War Austin Seven Club etc. The car comes with V5C and continuation book from 1954, showing the car left the factory as a tourer. It is now fitted with a new Roach aluminium body and most of the original Ruby mechanics have been utilised, but with several tweaks to improve its performance. The engine has been rebuilt, again, with some modifications including bigger valves, Cambridge head, external oil filter, over-size oil pump, trials-spec cam, competitive clutch springs, semi-Girling brakes, dropped front axle, etc. The tyres are brand new and particularly suitable for trialling, the seats are re-upholstered to a high standard. The car is just about 'as new' and will require running in.
