For sale here is a superb 1959 Austin Healey Frogeye. Finished in Cherry Red with contrasting Red interior and White piping. The car started off life in the sunny climate of San Francisco California. Re patriated here to the UK in 1999 and converted to RHD.
Just finished a complete body restoration by local enthusiast, the car was stripped prior to paint, and it was found to be completely solid with no rust at all. The engine and gearbox were removed and the under-bonnet area also completely re furbished, as well as the whole underside of the body. A new clutch was fitted. The car also retains its original 948 cc engine and smooth case gearbox. A new radiator, brakes and a stainless exhaust were also fitted. A new carpet set was also installed, the convertible top and side screens are in excellent order.
The paint is of a very high quality as the photos show.
Superb history file with the car with MoT’s going back to 1999, there is also a copy of the California title as well as the current V5 document. Although not required we will put a 12-month MoT on the car at the time of sale.
Certainly, one of the nicest, most solid little Frogeye’s that we have had the pleasure of owning/ selling.
