Reluctantly for sale, my 1993 Jaguar XJ6 3. 2 S Automatic
The car is finished in what I think is the best colour combination, Flamenco Red with Cream Leather and red carpets.
Being a late XJ40 it shares a lot with the later X300 cars so is the one to go for. The electrics are all Ford rather than BL. It has 4x electric windows, electric mirrors, central locking, ABS, trip computer, original radio cassette, electric ariel, front foglights and part electric seats.
As you can see from the photos the car looks stunning (well I think so anyway). The paint is all good with none of the usual laquer peel or rust, the chrome shines very nicely and the interior is clean and is a very pleasent place to be.
The car has a full service history right up to date with about 16 stamps in the book, the last service in november 2009 at 143, 000 miles. It is now showing 147, 450 but this rises daily.
The MoT is until APRIL 2011 and Tax until October 2010 so its ready to drive away.
There are a couple of small points to note but i'd rather be honest;
Minor bubbling on the rear bumper corners.
Central Locking sometimes needs to be locked using the lock inside the drivers door rather than the key.
There is sometimes a puff of blue smoke when you first start the car but over the past 3500 miles it has used less than half a litre of oil which is great for an older engine.
All in all a beautiful car that always recieves admiring comments from everyone who sees her. It is ready to go and will put a smile on your face everytime you jump in it.
