The Appeal

The XK8 is that most Jaguar of Jaguars - sinuous looks, whisper-quiet, ultra smooth driving and, on command, considerable performance. All reasons why these cars, the earliest of which is approaching 30 years old, are amongst the most in-demand of modern classics.

This early Regency Blue XK8 coupe has been in the hands of the current keeper since 2000. He is selling it reluctantly due to ULEZ. It presents well in the usual X100 structural areas like arches, sills, floors and underside and shows a low mileage for the year. There are a few areas of paintwork and minor damage to note in the photos, but these are cosmetic rather than structural. The service records show regular attention by main dealers and then the same specialist up to 84,000 miles.

The car has been in storage for two years due to ULEZ so will need a fresh MOT before it hits the road. It has been started regularly during that time and we are told it was checked over recently by an engineer. The XK8 related private plate is included in the sale.
