motodrome are pleased to offer this smart-looking ex-military 1994 Land Rover Defender 90 2. 5D soft top (TUL GS model) finished in Nato IRR drab.
This one is in seven seater spec, with a middle seat and two rear benches. .
In generally standard military-spec (apart from the civilian-type doors with wind-up windows & the extra seats as above) , its fitted with: matching set of 5 Michelin 750/ 16 tyres on Wolf rims, winterised air intake, military hood, front light guards, military front bumper, rear bumperettes and NATO towhook. Also fitted with new wheelarch eyebrows in gloss black. Being a later-spec model it has rear disc brakes.
Comes with military history showing 1994 to 2000 it took part in Operations Grapple and Palatine in Bosnia, spending some time with an armed recce squadron before passing to the REME, where it spent the rest of it’s service life before being released from military service in 2013. It’s only had 2 private owners since.
Odometer reading just 183000kms ie 115000 miles, although a plate on the engine shows it’s was fitted with a remanufactured military-spec motor before demob. In April 2018 (181950km) the engine was treated to a remanufactured injector pump, lift pump, cambelt, and a service.
