A rare opportunity to buy one of, I believe, less than 50 left out of 264 originally made - most of them having gone to the USA. This one is a very factory original example complete with T slot wheels and Essex V6 3000cc engine but with sensible improvements including electronic ignition, electric fuel pump, twin electric fans (it has never overheated) and stainless steel exhaust system. The car also comes with an original Pioneer radio cassette and of course full weather gear, hood, side screens and tonneau.
It had a body-off full restoration in the 90s and a respray in 2010 and has over the years been featured in various publications including Classic and Sports Car in August 1988.
As a 1978 car it is now MOT exempt, although its current MOT (no advisories) is valid until November 2020, and will be refreshed when it is sold. Of course it also qualifies as an Historic Car so no more tax to pay.
I have owned this S for 11 years and it has always been kept in a heated garage. A new addition to the family has meant this reluctant sale.
