Truly motoring in the traditional manner these V12 S Vantage's are built for true sports car enthusiasts - turn off the traction control, hit the hammer and you're in the sixties sports racer, and you need a proper driver at the helm
More brutal than the Lamborghini Huracan (the V12 S has 563 bhp & 7 speed gearbox & light weight construction - see the bonnet), and we have experienced both on the road, this little pocket rocket is more akin to an AC Cobra than most modern cars
The fact that Aston have only made 20 Vantage Volante manual means that this particular model is less common than most of their 'Limited Edition' specials - definitely a modern collectors piece
Of course, all of the modern bells and whistles as are included - most of which I can operate, some of which I can't, she has travelled on 2, 300 miles since now and in immaculate condition
What I can find in this modern car, is what you cant find in most others - something in which you can sit, start and purely drive yourself, knowing that you are in complete control
