Description
Rare, early 1994 L BMW E36 325i manual convertible.
Probably one of the first E36 convertibles, certainly in the first few months of production. You'll see more "K" registration E30 convertibles than you'll see "L" registered E36s.
It was the very top of the 3 series range at that time, before the M3 and 328i were introduced.
It is even rarer in that it is totally original and unmolested and I've a proper E36 radio to replace the one in it if the purchaser so prefers.
Most E36s have been "upgraded and modified" - or "ruined", as I prefer to describe it - by now.
The M50b25 engine is probably the best engine BMW made. Smooth, powerful and bullet proof. 5 speed manual gearbox.
Only 2 owners, 140 odd thousand miles with full service history.
It runs and drives perfectly.
It's been in dry storage for the past 9 years and has just been serviced and recommissioned.
It's never been painted. There is some very very light blistering at the rear arches and a few wee bits of lacquer peel/ fade etc. It looks superb.
Black leather interior in excellent condition.
Everything appears to work bar the electric roof which needs resynched.
The roof cover probably looks better than it is and while it's undamaged and complete, it has been repaired in the past and will need attention if the car is to be used in the wet.
It's been pre MoTd and it'll get a full 12 months MoT before it's collected.
I detest the idea of buying old cars as an investment, but I'm pretty sure this will increase in value strongly.
Please contact me for further information.
No offers considered unless you've physically viewed the car. Only 2 owners.
Totally original.
Full service history and paperwork.
Very rare, early E36 convertible. Top of the range at the time.
