This chrome bumper convertible has been in current ownership for the past 8 years. An active member of BMW Car Club, they have used the car for events and enjoyed it in the summer months. It has been SORN’d during winter months. The owner has even taken the time to document everything that has been done to the car during their ownership with much of the recent work carried out by retro BMW E30 specialists Garage Bavarian. It has received much love and attention in terms of care and maintenance, presenting as a superb example of a manual E30 325i. Its condition has to be seen in person to be believed.
The factory Royal Blue metallic bodywork has clearly been looked after and is still impressively bright, a previous owner confirms they owned a body shop for 50 years and carried out a full respray during his ownership, he reported that there was no rot. Factory fitted options included sport steering wheel, green tinted glass, hard top fixings and rear headrests. The grey leather sport interior is a later addition but looks very well against the blue paint. The manual roof is leak free and operates perfectly with a very good rear screen. As you would expect from a well looked after BMW it drives as well it’s presented. The only parts enhanced on the car are the Bilstein B12 suspension kit and a stainless-steel exhaust back box to give a little more of that lovely straight six note.
The sale includes a folder full of history with old MOT’s, regular servicing invoices and other maintenance. Notably not a rebuilt, but brand-new head in 2021 and in 2024 a significant overhaul of the handling and braking systems with many bushes replaced including subframe, new shocks and springs, discs and pads and prop shaft bushes.
