Description
Daimler Six, rarer SWB version. Registered 6th Oct 1995. 83910 miles. This car has no rot or rust, all original sills, spare wheel well perfect, (all unbelievably rare for these X300 model cars), never had advisory or failure on MOT for rust or rot. I bought the car in January 2022 as my daily driver, I am now reducing my X300 collection, just keeping my XJR's, so time to sell.
Service History: 11 service records (first 3 Jaguar Dealer in Bristol), next 5 Luxury Car Specialist in Bristol, last in 2004, next was at Swallows Jaguar in 2017 including an engine detox (receipt present). I then had the car serviced and overhauled at Tom Lenthall Jaguar in June 2022 at 77200 miles (£2800 + parts), the following work was done: new front calipers, discs all round, pads and handbrake shoes, new springs & Bilstein shock absorbers all round, gearbox, engine and rear axle oil service, front suspension lower ball joints, track rod ends, high pressure power steering pipe. In February I replaced the AC condenser and had the system re-gassed (receipt present). I also overhauled and cleaned the throttle body, so no sticky throttle. Other good points (typical X300 issues): working clock, fully working radio (was refurbished and has code) aerial fully working, external boot release button working, new battery, sunroof worked perfectly and no leaks, two keys and two working fobs, new wheel cap badges, all internal vents work correctly and unbroken (rear & dash), all bumper chrome bright and straight, the exhaust manifold cover is not rusty and rotten. Car is in excellent condition and drives very well. Tyres are correct size 225 60 16, all with 5+mm, they are budget brand; I never used the standard wheels in my ownership. The original lambs wool floor mats are all there too. The only issues I know of is the headlining has dropped a little over the rear seats, currently held up with 3 screws. There is a small dent on the boot lid just above the Daimler badge, clearly visible in the pictures. If you are looking for a luxury daily car, a weekend cruiser or want to take this car to the next pristine show winning level, then this is the car as it requires no structural welding. It's a pleasure to drive without the tired sloppy suspension some of the X300's have after having all the springs and shocks replaced.
