1948 Buick coupe model 46 Special Sedanette. Fireball engine 4. 1cc
This is one special car with super history. which only 11, 000 of this model were made and 401 exported. This particular model was built as a Right Hand Drive and possibly the only one with fender skirts - not sure how many right hand drive models were made. This was a special order for the South African embassy from the Flint Plant factory with a fisher body type.
This car is a survivor with no rot or body or patches anywhere.
This car has the fender skirts from the factory. This may be the only one with skirts. This car belonged to the president of the Buick club UK so you know it has to be something special.
It has been in dry storage for the last 40 years and previously in South Africa so no rust or rot anywhere, completely standard as it left the factory, since the owner passed away. I recently purchased the car from his brother who also had it in dry storage all those years.
