A Chevrolet C/ 10 stepsided pick up, 1969, powered by a 5. 0 litre V8 driving a three speed auto box with Lokar floor shifter. The car was subject to a full nut and bolt rebuild in the USA in 2018/ 19 with a rotisserie repaint in its original colour. The restoration has been faithful to the car’s original design with virtually no modifications. The body is completely rust free, the paintwork unblemished with a clean underbody and everything works. The engine pulls strongly, producing a glorious classic V8 roar and the transmission shifts smoothly and easily. The interior has been reupholstered in tune with the original vinyl and is unmarked. I bought the car directly from a USA dealer and imported the car to the UK in early 2020. In my ownership I have had the truck regularly serviced, the flywheel replaced and slightly shorter rear springs fitted so the truck sits level. I have also fitted a professionally designed rear tonneau cover in matching grey.
The C/ 10 drives exceptionally well. It pulls well and tracks and stops straight. It is a joy to drive, guaranteed to excite and invariably attracts attention. Definitely a truck to enjoy on a daily basis but will also stand out at shows.
