Single Stromberg Carburettor, 4 Speed Non Overdrive gearbox. Original rubber floor covering, replacement OEM front and rear seat covers, Excellent tyres all round including the spare. The engine runs sweetly all day long, you could easily use this car as your daily runner.
The car had a complete strip down and rebuild in the late 90's,
( photographic evidence available) and since then has remained with the family dry stored until traded in to a dealer, then purchased by myself. The body and undersides of this car are 95% rust free, I wouldn't say 100% because what car is, but you will struggle to find another in this condition. She is a lovely Dark Blue Colour ( Volvo Code 96) with a red interior. The paint does have some minor small imperfections but nothing to worry about. Everything works as it should. She has a full stainless steel exhaust, new stainless steel chromed bumpers, a Dynalite alternator conversion, looks like a dynamo but has alternator internals. She has a tow bar with twin electrics not used by myself but fully functional. She needs a new boot mat, and the boot springs for holding the boot open are week which is common on the Amazons. New rear shocks fitted and she has the lowered springs, which were fitted during the rebuild. I have just overhauled the Girling brake servo which is its first overhaul since its manufacture. The car is being sold with the original steel wheels not the wide wheels seen in most of the photos.
