A mindblowing, head turner rally/ road classic Mini, full re sprayed this week in original mini signal red.
1970 Classic Mini fitted with Eaton Vmaxscart Supercharger Kit
Shell fully restored between 2005 and 2011.
Used for Roadgoing Hillclimbing since 2017 (and one Donnington Track Day)
1970 Original Shell (build plate present on inner wing).
Tax and MOT exempt.
Will be sad to see it go, but I have plans for a new project. This was part of a beloved collection!
Engine (Built 2017)
Bored A series block fitted with new cam bearings and centre main strap
1340cc (+60) with AE Hepolite (Nural) High Comp Pistons
Rods and crank balanced and lightened by Southam Mini Centre (who machined the block also)
731 Cam and followers.
1. 5:1 Minispares rockers
ARP head studs
Decompression plate (for supercharger fitment in 2019)
Ported and polished cylinder head with large valves.
Mini spares fast road distributer
Lightened flywheel
Orange Diaphram and rally plate.
1. 75" SU on special Vmaxscart Inlet (prevents usual carb icing issue)
Serviced Eaton Supercharger on Vmaxscart manifold
Maniflow LCB and RC40 exhaust system.
Estimated 125 bhp by Vmaxscart (rolling road @ 89bhp prior to supercharger)
Remote gearbox (rebuilt 2018)
Straight cut gear set.
