For sale is my 1965 splitscreen crew cab pickup.
She is in excellent condition, we have owned her for nearly 9 years and in that time have won a few trophies at local VW shows. The previous owner had it for 12 years and not covering many miles at all. For the last 20 years that I know of she has always been pampered and stored in a dry garage and only coming out on nice days. She has been featured in a magazine telling how she came into the country and was rebuilt by Chris Clarke.
I will probably regret selling her but I’m getting too old to sleep on air beds and if I had the space wouldn’t be up for sale.
MOT done every year just to be on the safe side.
She’s now 58 years old and still looking very nice for her age.
Body work rock solid no rust. white underneath on the body, so no hidden surprises.
Safari front windows with Buttys seals and two opening rear windows.
Speedfellows four pot wilwood disc brakes on the front, also have the drum brakes if you want them.
Bears motorsport built gearbox with a taller 4 gear.
1641cc engine with Twin carbs
scooped external oil cooler with fan
Vintage speed stainless exhaust.
Comes with a set of hoops and a flat canvas to cover the bed.
The price it’s hard to say as not many come on the market so I’ve got to put a price on her so I’d say £30, 000 but open to serious offers.
