Description
When purchased in 1997 the late Peter Whenman (Lagonda guru) described the car as one of the best 5 high chassis available. The car was restored in the 1960's to a high standard and has since been maintained by the Engineer owner with a detailed log of all work done. The excellent leather upholstery renewed by John Andrews , retired Lagonda factory trimmer. Car in mint condition with fabric covered tourer body complete with sidescreens, double duck hood and tonneau.
Mechanically superb with good engine compressions
Featured in Lagonda Heritage by Richard Bird, page27Restored to a high standard (as original) by Mr Tony Brandon 1967- 1991, then passed to Mr A Thompson 1991 -1998, finally into my ownership. Mr Brandon told me that "every component was checked and replaced as necessary"
I won the 2 litre concours at the Lagonda Club AGM 1999 and also the Goeff Seaton award for "the best maintained and used Lagonda" a few years later
