Volkswagen 412 LE Variant 1700cc petrol 1974. Type 4.
One owner family from new (my Dad bought it in 1974 and then transferred to my Mum in 1980).
This was my Mum’s daily driver for about 10 years, we used to sleep in the back on the way home from holidays in the late 70s.
Great family car but then something newer was bought and she stayed in the back of the garage for a couple of decades.
In 2016 as my Dad got older he had a wish to see her back on the road and in her former glory, so we had a full restoration done at great expense to grant him his wish before his time was up.
Post restoration, we took her to the Stanford Hall show in 2018 and won best in class.
Since that time my Dad got ill and died so it’s time for her to go to someone who will also love her.
Comes with a current MOT with no advisories until March 2024 and has also been serviced at the same time. Kept inside a garage at all times.
This is a rare car and one of the best in this condition
