A future collectors car
This car is the much cherished and desired PORTFOLIO XJR Supercharged, one of 100 special edition sleek and sporty cars manufactured in the penultimate year to the end of the production line, prior to the new model range of the X351 in 2009.
This car is a lighter weight at 1659 kgs, because of its aluminium body, which resulted in a larger car - 100mm longer and an amazing 148mm higher body. this resulted in an enhancement of the appearance.
In 2007 and 2008, the cars received the benefit of improved electrics and mechanics, using these as a prototype for the next new model range.
The car has a rear sun blind with factory privacy glass to rear.
In 2019, as a result of a very low-speed shunt in a supermarket car park, the dented nearside front wing was replaced, rather than experiencing an imperfect repair of the aluminium skin. see photos of before and after.

Upgrade of sat nav to Jagdroid Odroid n2 computer, allowing download of Google, car launcher pro, rotation control for landscape display, tom tom or waze, internet access, and a reversing camera. dab digital radio can be added by plugging in a usb dab + module.

What is insured:
This policy will pay for parts, labour and value added tax (vat) of covered components up to the chosen duration and claims limit (refer to proposal/ policy schedule for coverage level). £30 per day contribution for up to seven days towards vehicle replacement on a valid claim. up to £100 towards the cost of towing the vehicle to the nearest repairer on a valid claim unlimited number of claims up to amount of the £1000 claims limit, as specified in your policy schedule. Up to £60 towards overnight accommodation or a return rail fare if you are unable to return home on a valid claim. Vehicles up to 3, 500kg gross weight. parts covered within:- engine, manual gearbox, automatic gearbox, torque converter, differential, clutch, front wheel drive, rear wheel drive, wheel bearings, fuel injection system, engine cooling system, steering [including power assisted steering], turbo charger [factory fitted], front and rear suspension, brakes, anti-locking brake system [abs) [factory fitted], electrical system, engine management [ecu], casings, working materials
In summary - this car is ready to "go", and live the next phase of its life as a "collectors car", an appreciating asset. 11 number annual services with Jaguar dealerships up to 17th Feb 2017, recorded at 89038 miles, and then after being off the road for a while. the car was overhauled by a specialist garage for 6 months up to December 2021 recorded at 100800 miles. This is a genuine UK sourced car and NOT a Jaguar import as many cars are via JagWest. Therefore the rear number plate shroud is original for UK plate.
