stunning car, excellent condition, reluctant sale due to lack of use, not your usual boxster as extremely high spec from original (fibreglass sports seats, optional full leather everything on the interior, factory Zenon head lights, stainless sill plates, body colour coordinated roll hoops, bose amplified system, heated front and rear screens , 18 inch alloys, etc etc apparently it was the same price as a 911 when new
Its had two previous owners. In my ownership i have put new battery, Pirellis p zeros on it all around ( the fronts have slight side wall cracking from lack of use but still were fine for MOT), i had a major service done not long after i got it that included a new water pump, belts, oil and filter. About a year later i had the air con radiators replaced and the system recharged plus the front top mounts changed and some suspension wishbones renewed, i have had the electric hood reproofed several times including this spring. I had the original car telephone kit removed as it dated the car and have replaced the central dash side pod ( old unit supplied ) the stereo had developed a fault that meant it drained the battery on standby so it is wired to be switched on with the ignition now but still retains the last setting etc amp works and plenty load enough etc but its not the latest apple play version.
on the subject of load i had the exhaust system replaced with a TOYO stainless system that gives a thrilling sound that appears to be connected to your brain/ right foot, gives the occasional pop on over run and really adds the driving experience however on long journeys at about 70 mph it has a drone so i have bought some baffles that are easy fit with an allen key so these will be included in the sale. Service history is not full as it was laid up for a couple of years before i bought it and i have used it only occasionally but have ensured all necessary work has been completed. When i bought it the previous owner assured me the clutch and IMS bearing had been replaced but i have no paperwork to substantiated this, but in having the work i have had done on the water pump there was no evidence of any wear etc in it and it drives really well withy no smoke.
Surprising economical at 50 mpg when cruising at 65 mph
All most forgot i had a complete brake overhaul also with new pads, discs and shoes all around, any questions bound to have missed a few thingsthis is a truly well engineered sports car, incredible performance, unique spec, stunning timeless looks a classic that will only appreciate in value
