Description
‘Florence’ my 1972 RHD Fiat 500f is for sale. It is not an import model but one supplied to the first owner by Huxford and Son in Hampshire on 07/ 08/ 1972. She currently has a odometer reading of approximately 44500 miles that appears genuine based on service records and dates. She was recommissioned with an engine rebuild in 2007 and a respray in 2013. She runs and pulls exceptionally well. The carburettor was rebuilt in 2021 by CCK in High Hurstwood, East Sussex that I imagine is also a contributing factor. The floor pan was rusty in places and this too has been replaced and repaired, protected underneath with Novol Gavit 600 stone chip and 2 coats of paint on the inside. Photographic evidence is available for all the improvements made over the two years of my ownership. I have recently had it inspected for safety with no issues. I have attempted to keep her as original as possible but for convenience replaced the static belts with inertia type. All parts that have been replaced have been kept apart from the new sunroof. I have an endless list of replacements (with receipts) and improvements too many to list in this advertisement but available on request. Hopefully the photographs illustrate the improvements that have been carried out. The documentation includes the rare original purchase documentation, dealers badge on the passenger door and complete toolkit and jack. She is stored in a garage when not used and is never taken out in the rain. It is time for someone new to take care of this lovely example and continue the enjoyment of this Italian classic. To the best of my knowledge there are no issues with this vehicle and whoever purchases this vehicle will not be disappointed.
