For sale is my 1969 mk2 mini in island blue. 4 previous owners and covered around 51, 000 miles. I have owned this car since december 2006 and a previous owner had the car from at least 1972 until the mid 90's so its spent nearly 40 years out of 54 with 2 owners. I have always kept it garaged and due to owning many other minis it is rarely used.
Just undergone a full stripdown and thorough going through which included many new parts . Tyres, brakes, hydrolastic pipes, rubber seals, new grille kit and heritage bonnet.
Lots of parts are date stamped 69 or stamped mowog. Very original car for age.
More than happy to mot if required although it is mot and tax exemptIn my opinion it would be hard to find a mk2 shell this solid that hasn't had a full restoration. You can't buy a new mk2 shell and they are rare being built for such a short period. I appreciate that the auto may not be to everyones taste but with a bodyshell this structually sound and having had so little i think its an excellent base to modify if thats your thing. I never felt i could mess with it but at the same time it would make a lovely 's' replica , hill climb, sleeper, pocket rocket etc. Its pretty much bolt on changes from here. Or enjoy as it is
