A lovely, ex-museum Austin 7 Ruby in dark green with black arches, over a light green leather interior.
Refurbished by previous owner. Lots of new parts. Electronic ignition. Not used since I bought it two years ago. Garaged and kept under Austin logo’d cover.
Only selling due to lack of use, as a result of old age (of the car and owner!). A beautiful old thing. Recent new battery and starter motor switch mechanism.
Lovely condition for the year. Good tyres. Sliding roof.
Will be perfect for an enthusiast owner to pootle around in, take to shows and just admire.
Remember this car is 90 years old, so some inevitable stone chips and blemishes. Engine sounds like a sewing machine - freshly started today (May 2026).
Some corrosion on driver’s side door hinge where it connects to body of the car. Overall chassis condition very good. Lifelong ambition to own an Austin 7, but poor health of elderly wife meant I never got to use it since buying the car in 2024.
Rare to find in such nice condition and I really want the car to go to an enthusiast who will look after the old girl!
