I've had the car for 8 years and have maintained it, usually professionally, regardless of cost. It is currently MOT'd until November 2023 and is in perfect working order in all respects, including the overdrive, with electronic ignition, electric cooling fan and electric fuel pump. It has a glass sunroof, has been polybushed all round and has Gaz shocks both front and rear.
During my ownership I have done the following work:
New foam and refurbished seats
New alternator
Refurbished rear brakes with new shoes and drums including pull off springs
Electronic ignition with new coil, red rotor arm, distributor cap and high performance plug leads
New o/ s suspension upright and driveshaft u/ j
New o/ s brake caliper and new pads on both sides
Polybush anti-roll bar bushes
New footwell mats
4 new Uniroyal Rain expert standard size tyres
New Bosch 52Ah battery
Refurbished front suspension with new spring seat top plate and upper wishbone overhaul kit
The car should need nothing done to it apart from the usual maintenance, it has never let me down. The bodywork has no rust and the chassis is sound as well.
I'm asking for around £16K but am prepared to haggle. I always wanted a GT6 and have enjoyed it hugely over the last 8 years but it is now time to move on. It is such an enjoyable car to drive and always attracts attention when I take it out. Just such fun looking along the big bonnet!
I do believe the car is worth the asking price but am prepared to haggle.
