Here I have for sale my project 1985 B reg Alfa Romeo Gtv6 Alfetta. This is a South African import car so has the earlier and as I often read more rare split dash with Biege checkered cloth interior.
I bought the car a few years ago now after it had been stood for a few years, with the intention to restore it after a few other projects I had on the go. In that time I've completely stripped down the interior and a few exterior parts, which is now how it sits.
It was sold to me with the knowledge that the lower radiator panel needed work, and a few areas on the inner wings, after stripping out the interior as you can see from the pictures the bulkhead is very bad and needs replacing or rebuilding, along with the inner wings, corner of the drivers floor, the front engine crossmember and a few other areas, including the area below the spare wheel. After finding this area was very bad, I managed to source a complete front end from another Gtv6 which has a great solid bulkhead, upper dash, inner wings, engine crossmember, basically all the areas needed to address the front end which I will include in the sale.
In general its a very complete project car for someone who has the skills and time to do it right. The interior is complete and very good, particularly the seats and door cards. The wing mirrors where missing so I've sourced a nos pair, also a rear gtv6 2. 5 rear badge, the only thing missing im yet to find is a fuel filler cap.
Comes with Speedline alloys, including a speedline spare, they're really nice wheels, but need a refurb. Comes with all the grey body mouldings.
This car certainly needs viewing as its a serious project car not for the faint hearted, but potentially could be a fantastic investment, as these gtv6 models are really appreciating nowadays.
The engine is all there with nothing missing, and being a SA spec car has air conditioning too.
