A rare totally original 1982 XR2 MK1 in desirable white. The car is totally standard and has never been messed with. Original Ford radio fitted along with un-cut door cards and parcel shelf. Vehicle still retains it dealer stickers and original dealer marked number plates.
The car is in exceptional condition having under gone a sensitive restoration work by it's dedicated owner many years ago. You are now presented with a totally rust free vehicle that has been dry stored for many years as part of many collection, including my own.
You'll be hard pressed to find a more original car in show condition such as this.
The car has retained it's factory spec including fully sealed chassis and additional rust proofing.
With just 5 previous owners on the log book it's incredibly low ownership considering this was a hot hatch from the 80's and it's been a family car transferred from father to son in those records too. I've been its last owner for the last 3 years and I've driven it probably a handful of times.
The engine is still punchy and the car is a joy to drive and you really can't go anywhere without being talked too or photographed! I'ts a thing of beauty and now of motoring history now the last Fiesta has rolled off the production line.
The car comes with plenty of history and will be registered as HISTORIC in January 2024. So no more road fund licence to pay or annual MOTS.
The car is currently dry stored and SORN. I't will receive a full MOT once a deposit is secured.
