Citroen 2CV Dolly

History file going back to 1993 with bills, receipts and MOTs for the entire period
48200 Miles
After checking the history file which goes back to 1993 this mileage does appear to be correct at 48, 000 miles.
Back in 1993 it had covered around 18, 000 miles and the comprehensive history file since adds a few miles each year.
So unless it covered 118, 000 miles within the first 6 years ( extremely unlikely ) then this recorded mileage of 48, 000 miles is correct.
Engine is the standard 602cc but has been fitted with the Classic Fuel Injection System.
This gives better reliability and more importantly for one of these it gives some extra performance both in the mid range and at the top end.
OK it is no rocket ship but it certainly feels quicker than it did before conversion.
This car was originally the Red and White Dolly but the previous owner decided to remove the red and have the whole car in white.
Overall Condition
Everything seems to be present and correct.
All appears to work as it should.
Classic Fuel Injection system fitted
Also recent new exhaust rear section, heater controls and some of the heater tubes replaced.
( one heater tube is missing in the photo, replacement ordered and should arrive in next couple of days )
Chassis is original and is basically solid, has had two small repairs in the past but they look to be from a while back.
Body is as a 2CV should be - A bit scruffy and wearing its battle scars with pride !!
Not a show car but perfectly fine as is or if you wished you could improve - although I think that would spoil the character
Car Tax, MOT V5 and Insurance
Being 1986 it is only 3 years from becoming Historic Status with MOT exemption and free car tax.
MOT just passed and good until July 24
Car is UK registered and V5 is present and in my name
Most drivers will be able to insure this on a classic policy for around £100 per yearMy History with the Car
Purchased this car about 2 years ago because I had always wanted one for a toy and several customers were asking " do you have a Classic Fuel Injection kit for the 2CV "
We did not then, but we do now. I decided to use the car to develop our Classic Fuel Injection kits for the 2CV.
I have only carried out a few small jobs and routine servicing and fitted the Classic Fuel Injection System.
Otherwise it is as I bought it

Basically running out of space.
I have too many and projects and not enough time or storage.
