This is a Cooper Sport 500, one of the last 500 of the production line and looks like it has been fitted with an additional power pack thought to be a 90hp kit with a modified cylinder head. This is a MPI version.
The car had been sat for 6 years and was MOT'd last year and promptly began leaking oil given that it had been sat the seals had hardened. This year it has had an engine out all oil seals replaced along with clutch, water pump and other parts as required, it recently passed it's MOT with some advisories that can be seen on line.
This is not a concours car more a useable rare limited edition classic that would suit someone looking for a running project. This vehicle is no longer available for sale.
Sadly I have other projects I need to get on with and this having been garaged for 6 years doing nothing now needs to move on. It is a cracking little car that always gets attention whenever it is parked up.
