Ford Probe mark 1 American import. LHD
One of a kind.
Undergone thorough engine rebuild (see receipt) together with a custom stainless exhaust (not loud) from cat back.
Very, very low mileage and in exceptional, original condition. Getting ultra rare especially in mark 1 iteration. I have never seen another in this country. Pas, auto (with sport), cruise, pop up lights (yay!). Totally standard throughout even down to the original stereo, fitted from new.
Interior in almost mint condition presented in cool retro 80’s velour.
Parcel shelf/ carpets/ switchgear and seats mint mint mint. All original stickers in the engine bay and boot etc. I have the original steering wheel but prefer the Alcantara one. Both included.
The vehicle has been gone through methodically to make sure all is as it should be. No advisories on MOT and I would welcome any inspection.

I had the vehicle booked in for a full re-spray to finish the refresh. However I was advised by the sprayer that any potential purchasers may want to see the car before to reassure themselves it would not have been done to hide rust/ issues. PLEASE NOTE! The car would massively benefit from a full re-spray. The car has hedge brush blemishes and a few small supermarket dings. The lower arches require a touch in. I would factor in a full paint as that’s what I would do to finish. Still extremely presentable but I’d certainly like to do it for the next stage of its life.

I am in no rush to sell. Be kind, don’t waste my time and we’ll get on just fine. No PX. I am a total fan of 80's cars from quattro's to SD1's etc. I wanted a car that was completely different from the usual but with all the style (!) and retro loveliness that I wouldn't bump into at every car show or meet. This car has the best reaction from all cars I have owned including Bentleys, Porsches etc. People just love this car, it is completely inoffensive but makes you feel great behind the wheel. It does feel special.... and pop ups.... need I say more.
