Completely original Yahama AT1e from 1969 ( Not a restored pickle but still a cucumber ! } only 900 miles from new and stored in a dry american climate for 54 years. Stored since then in a perfect environment for its needs until being imported into the uk in June this year. Its been subject to some light recommissioning ( new plug; points and battery. ignition timing set , clutch stripped, rebuilt and adjusted , oil pump bled and recommissioned , running both tank mix and oil feed at present , new petcock , ignition switch and new crank seals both sides ) . Starts on the key or Kickstarter first time and runs well in all gears with great compression and a superb two stroke sound on the original carburretor; well tuned to the 125 engine which is still tight and lively on the original piston. The paintwork is in good original condition and the badges are also original , fuel tank is also in good order inside but inline fuel filter fitted as a precaution . The wheels and exhaust are superb, as are the original tyres, chain and front and rear cogs . Its a sweet running little motorcyle thats tax and mot exempt and not as pricey as the usual fizzers but with all the character of the early yamaha machines.

Buy a piece of history while its still available, still fresh and still a cucumber . Only 900 miles from new and in the original 1969 colour scheme with the red badges, very rare.

Check out the photos to see its really that good . Unbelievable for a 54 year old bike .

This one really is a hidden gem stored safe and sound in a american basement until discovered by the importer . Contact me to discuss on .

Nb currently being UK registered and will be road legal before sale. Check out
