For sale is this lovely example of the 2. 5 V6 MG ZT 180+ with 74K+miles with MOT until October 2023
This has been a project car in my ownership since February 2022. This car had been sitting for 2-3 years prior to my ownership. Since my ownership it has gone through extensive work.
Work includes but not all:
- Cam belts.
- Gold Resistor upgrade.
- Coolant pipes replaced.
- Starter motor replaced.
- Vis motors.
- Rear inner and outer sills.
- Full interior strip out for sun roof drain plug upgrade as the floor was full of water when I purchased.
- Discs and pads all round.
- Sun roof motor replaced.
- More done also.
The car runs absolutely fine with no mechanical issues I know of.
This is now a mainly cosmetic project car for someone to play with. Including the following:
- Wing mirror covers have scuffs.
- Rear window surround needs the old paint taking off and re doing.
- 2 small dents on the bonnet where the previous owner had tried to slam it shut (not easily visible and the bonnet catch is modified so this will not happen again). They are over the structural members so require being pulled out. (My dent man didn't have that tool).
- Small scuff on the front bumper.
- 2 small bits of lacquer peel.
- There is water ingress in the boot area. I can not find where it is coming from.
- Sunroof shade needs new rails as when I send the sunroof back it drags the shade with it.
Myself and the car are very honest. I do not have any more time to work on the car. It will be a great tinkering project for someone however when fully cleaned it already looks the part and is very nice to drive.
